A Way of Life is a story of simplicity. My primary goal for its development and eventual release was to highlight core aspects of traditional Japanese aesthetics through simple and relaxing gameplay. The player is tasked with regaining his senses after the death of his friend. To do this, the player must reconnect with the surrounding world by foraging for plants, exploring the land, and fishing. He is guided by the Japanese spirit Inari, who is playable as a free-moving and agile fox.
